Trip to Atlanta for the Church Planters Assessment

John and I had a life changing experience at the Presbyterian Church in America's Church Planter's Assessment Center in Atlanta. We didn't get any pictures. We spend four days with a team of awesome people who evaluated our lives and watched us work with teams of people. We were affirmed and approved to be church planters if the Lord led that way. It was through contacts we made there that we were able to connect with our new church.
A bonus was getting to tour our niece Emily's SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) in Atlanta.

Being silly with sister Susan on a display of someones art.

Stopping in for an ice cream treat with Bruce too.

Jenna starts Kindergarten at ECA

Major Dad gets off work for the big day
Jenna is attending the same school where her mom went in kindergarten and we both taught. Pretty special.

John and I got to be there for the big day.

Mrs. Stephens was not Corrie's teacher but she has been at ECA a long time. She and I got our masters degrees together. She is a very good friend.
Hunter Johnson stopped me after school. I was his third grade teacher.Hunter's grandmother Paula introduced our family to ECA in the first place. I used to drive his dad as his family carpooled with us. Second generation ECA students are a testimony to this incredible school.
