Farewell 2008

We have the granddaughters for this New Years Eve. We went to the beach for a last look in 2008. Tomorrow we go to Monterrey and deliver Sean and Corrie's most valuable possessions to them. Their "stuff" comes on January 6th. We'll stay and enjoy the Aquarium and some of the other most magnificient sights in Monterrey Bay. They will be there for two years.

Merry Christmas

We send greetings to each of you prayng that the Lord Jesus will give you a Christmas where your emphasis will be on worshiping Him. We love the lights on the houses here in California. John has done a wonderful job of making our house one of the prettiest on the block. Sean and Corrie are coming for Christmas. They are moving 6 hours away to Monterrey, California on December 28th. We'll keep the girls for them while they get settled. Then we are off January 20 and will join Heather and Troy and our precious Susannah who we have not seen since she was 2 weeks old. We are renting an apartment in the same complex in Grapevine. We are all very excited to live near each other for the first time in many years.
Pray for Corrie and family as they leave Tuesday the 23th from Colorado Springs traveling in two cars across the country to arrive at our house for Christmas eve. We are trusting God that He has a new assignment for us and will reveal it to us in his perfect timing. We would love to find a church in Texas. Thanks for your prayers. California is going to be a hard place to leave. :(
